Shelfmark mounts a camera and a controlled light source directly over the print path, so every transfer is inspected the moment it is printed. As the film moves, the system compares each print against the artwork and the previous good prints. When it sees a white-ink dropout, where the white base layer is thin or missing, it marks the exact location and shows the operator a boxed defect on screen. The same pass catches banding from clogged or misfiring nozzles, head strikes where the print head contacts the film, and registration drift between color layers. Each defect is logged with its position on the roll, so nothing has to be re-found later. Everything feeds the platform: a live defect feed for the operator, a running defect rate for the floor, and a quality report your team can hand to a buyer. The goal is simple.
